AccommodationsChignecto House HostelChignecto House Hostel has three bedrooms with two bunkbeds each (4 people) with bare mattress, showers and bathrooms. And guess what folks, this is our most posh offering! Those who come to Cape Enrage to stay for overnight or longer need to understand that we are not equiped to cater to those who need to be pampered. Our accommodations are for the adventure-minded who do not mind where they stay as long as it is clean and weather-proof. The Hostel is a second-floor setting in the Adventure Centre which was built new in 1997. It's overlooking the Bay of Fundy, the Cape Enrage lighthouse and has a large deck for your evening enjoyment. Very large, clean washrooms and showers are always kept in top condition and are for the sole use of the Hostel guests.
Arctic Lantern and Common LanternArctic Lantern and Common Lantern are two roofed 450 square foot wilderness cabana-style group quarters that sleep 22 people each on bunk beds. Mattresses are not included. These are used primarily by large groups who prefer not to tent or who want to be a bit off the main site overlooking Samauri Beach and the great evening sunsets. Just a 4-minute stroll to the Cape headquarters washrooms, gid=ft shop, restaurant and adventure centre.
Tent DecksTent Decks (8' by 12') on a secluded, protected hillside overlooking the Bay of Fundy and the rising sun. In 2008, we have added a weather-proof canopy over each of the four tent decks so you actually don't have to have your own tent. Each deck will easily accommodate 6 people. Washrooms are just a 2-minute walk to Chignecto Centre. Showers are not part of the package.
